...or “Mistake Negroni”

stirred by @annarossiofficial

I first had a Negroni Spagliato with our friend Luca Manfé when he was my guest on the facebook live version of Chef's Pantry in 2020. I like when a cocktail is not too sweet and is light enough to sip. The aromatic and bitter notes of Campari and Vermouth are pillars to the Negroni flavor profile and the swap of prosecco for classic gin lightens the refreshment not only with bubbles but with less alcohol. A chic tray, like this one from Styld and their Laguna collection make serving chic and a center piece.

1 oz Campari

1 oz Sweet Vermouth

4 oz Prosecco

In a rocks glass over ice, gently stir together Campari and Sweet Vermouth. Top with prosecco and garnish with a slice of orange.
