BACON WRAPPED CHEDDAR BURGER DOGS

INGREDIENTS


For the burger dogs

1 lb Kayem Small Batch Double Smoked Bacon

1 lb Ground Beef

6 oz cheddar, shredded

Kosher Salt & Pepper


For the fixin’s

Split top buns

Mayonaise

Mustard

Iceberg Lettuce, shredded

Tomato, diced

Dill Pickle, diced

Red Onion, diced


PREPARATION

  1. Preheat your oven to 375* & place an oven safe rack on top of a foil lined baking sheet.

  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the ground beef, cheddar, 1 tsp kosher salt and ½ tsp cracked pepper. Divide into 6 even sections and role into cylinders about 1” diameter and 5-6” long.

  3. Carefully wrap each burger dog with one to two slices of Kayem Small Batch Bacon and arrange evenly on the rack & baking sheet.

  4. Bake for 20 minutes or until bacon is crisp and meat is cooked through.

  5. Serve in a bun with your favorite fixin’s.
